"When I  despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love has always won.  There have been tyrants and murderers and for a time they seem invincible, but in the end they always fall- think of it, always." ~Mohandas K. Gandhi

Gandhi is right.  We live in a system today where the war machine seems to grind on, the corruption continues, the politicians sneer at us no matter what we do.  But under the surface of our rulers' contempt is panic and desperation.  They realize that we are in the middle of a mass awakening.  The Information Age has changed the rules by which they controlled humanity for centuries.

The most important part of our struggle is educating the public about 9/11, which is the lynchpin to every crime the neocons and their backers are commiting.  Polls show that over a third of the country believes that 9/11 was an inside job.  Another third of the country fanatically supports the Bush Administration, and probably wouldn't join us if they saw a picture of Cheney shaking hands with Osama Bin Laden on September 12th.  What we need to focus on is the middle third of the country who are highly skeptical of the Bush Administration but just aren't familiar with the mountain of evidence pointing to government complicity in the attacks.

Check out http://truthaction.org to learn more about outreach and education actions that are taking place worldwide on the 11th of every month.  Go to the forum section to see what's happening in a city near you, or start your own listing!  There are lots of easy outreach activities you can do:

*Copy fliers and DVDs and pass them out to friends and strangers.
*Hang banners and posters over highways (where legal, of course).
*Put up stickers and stencils (ditto).
*Speak at open mics.
*Post on Internet forums.
*Utilize social networking sites like MySpace or create your own website (and give us a link, would ya?).
*Host a regular 9/11 movie night.
*Join a local 9/11 Truth group or start your own and get others involved.

There are also plenty of other things you can do to free yourself and your government from the global elites' network of control:

Support Campaign Finance Reform. Until political campaigns are publicly financed, only the wealthy and well-connected have much of a chance at getting into office.

Support Media Reform.  A republic requires an informed citizenry to function properly, and this is not possible when most of our news is mediated by a handful of mega-corporations.

Support Instant Run-Off Voting. Under this system, you don't have to vote for the lesser of two evils.  You would be allowed to make two or more choices in a given race, ranking the candidates.  If your first choice (perhaps a dark horse of third party candidate) didn't get enough votes, then your vote would count towards your next choice.

Only vote for candidates who sign an affidavit swearing to work to abolish the Federal Reserve. Money isn't the root of all evil.  Money is just a means of representing wealth, which is a good thing.  But fake money like federal reserve notes is the root of many of our woes here in America and around the world.

Hold your already elected officials accountable. Call, write, and fax your representatives regularly to demand a new investigation into 9/11.  Tell them to support Dennis Kucinich's motions to ban weapons in space and to impeach Cheney, or thank them if they already have.

Vote with your dollar. Instead of keeping your savings at some mega-bank, consider a local credit union.  Instead of shopping on the Internet or chain retailers, support your local economy.  Instead of going to the big supermarket, buy food from a Farmers' Market.

Rely on yourself and your community instead of the government and big corporations. Get to know your neighbors.  Own firearms and know how to use them.  Support a community garden, or start a garden of your own.  If you work a white collar job be sure you know some blue collar skills.  If you work a blue collar job, be sure you know how to use computers, because they are perhaps the most powerful tools an individual can own.
